I signed up at the gym in Horseshoe and went and did my first workout in a while. It’s a really nice gym. I have 24/7 access. When I got there Tuesday morning, I used my key to get in and I was the only one in there for about 10 minutes.
I went to church today at Joy Outreach Fellowship, where I attend every summer. The Holy Spirit is truly in this place. I was welcomed with hugs and friendly faces.
Bob and I relaxed this afternoon, enjoying the cool mountain air.

We discovered a bird had built her nest on top of the light fixture outside the front door. She is nesting on it, so we are using the sliding door on the deck to go in and out of the house. She is quite skittish. Mr. Bird keeps an eye out from a tree not too far away. 
We unpacked and started settling in.
Went into town and got some groceries.

We finally reached the NC state line and stopped at the Welcome Center to get some new maps and information about the summer events.

Hendersonville is in Henderson County. Here are some pictures of the thoroughfare.
However, we will post pictures of Historic Hendersonville after we go down to Main Street next week.
We finally arrived in HorseShoe, where we have a little cabin. 
We get to sleep in our bed tonight. 
The weather is absolutely gorgeous…about 78ยบ and minimal humidity. It is going to cool down even more next week.

We crossed the beautiful Savannah River in South Carolina. It is quite a long river; 350 miles!

We spent the night in a rest area near Spartanburg, SC. Just a few more hours of driving, and we will be home in NC. We spent the night in a rest area near Spartanburg, SC.
It was an uneventful day, thank God. We truly feel His protection as we travel.
We should arrive at our place in Hendersonville on Friday.
