You do not want to know how much we saved (or spent).

Here is a view of NC from SC.
We finally reached the NC state line and stopped at the Welcome Center to get some new maps and information about the summer events. This quilt is displayed in the center. It depicts all the talented crafters and artisans in this area.
Hendersonville is in Henderson County. Here are some pictures of the thoroughfare. However, we will post pictures of Historic Hendersonville after we go down to Main Street next week.
We finally arrived in HorseShoe, where we have a little cabin.
We get to sleep in our bed tonight. The weather is absolutely gorgeous…about 78º and minimal humidity. It is going to cool down even more next week.
