DAY 3 Thursday

We slept in! Then we had a leisurely breakfast. Check out time was 1:00 and we checked out at 12:45. We did enjoy Anastasia State Park and will return again.

We traveled through Georgia, making our way toward North Carolina, stopping for lunch and dinner. The South Carolina Border is quite welcoming with its gates. Pretty.

We crossed the beautiful Savannah River in South Carolina. It is quite a long river; 350 miles!

We spent the night in a rest area near Spartanburg, SC. Just a few more hours of driving, and we will be home in NC. We spent the night in a rest area near Spartanburg, SC.

It was an uneventful day, thank God. We truly feel His protection as we travel.

We should arrive at our place in Hendersonville on Friday.
Thanks for reading our journal.
