DAY 2 Bob and Janet's Adventure

What a beautiful day (even with the rain)!

We decided to get to Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine early and spend the day in the Oldest City in the United States.

We quickly parked the RV and took off toward the city. Crossing bridges, viewing the lighthouse, touring the city, and just enjoying each other made this a great day.

Temporary "lift" Bridge of Lions over the Matanzas River

This is the Matanzas River.
Matanzas=Bloody Massacre.
Can you imagine so many casualties that the river was red with blood for days?

Here are some photos from our sightseeing in St. Augustine:

Our next posting will be about Anastasia State Park, St. Augustine Beach, Florida

Hi Janet and Bob,

Thanks for the pics. St. A. is a place I've always wanted to visit. Maybe I can convince the kids and go there next year.

Blessings to you today and every day.
