DAY 33 BOSTON, MA

DAY 32 BOSTON, MA

Our challenge was traveling into Boston. We didn’t know exactly where we should go. As we entered the city, we stopped on the side of the road to look at a map and call a couple of tour companies. As we were getting our bearings, a decent Boston Police Officer stopped and asked if we were okay. He gave us directions of what exit to take and where we needed to go.
This suspension bridge is considered a waste of money as it must be closed down during snowstorms in the winter. The beauty of it is not functional in eliminating the snow in the winter. You can probably picture what happens as the snow collects on the suspension bands. But it sure is pretty.
We finally found a perfect parking place above the Hard Rock Café and directly in the center of town. We approached a Trolley post and purchased tickets that took us around the city and provided us with a Harbor Cruise. This turned out to be a great adventure. Some buildings in Boston are built to give the appearance of a ship, like this one.

We could hop on and hop off the trolley to see the Old North Church and Paul Revere’s house.

Our crazy tour guide took us on a side trip to an old Boston Fire House.

We took the Harbor Cruise and got an idea about where the Boston Tea Party occurred. Overall, it was a great day.

We had dinner at the Hard Rock Café and headed back to our campsite on Cape Cod.
